I'll be handing out awards at the end of the year. I'm not sure what they'll be based on yet, but one of them is certainly "Most Active on the Forum". So POST POST POST!

Jack, what about a Perfect Attendance Award? Because Shane would pick that one up easily =P according to attendance records, he's been to every meeting...

Awards? Doesn't that kind of defeat the egalitarian basis of student council? Shouldn't we be working towards improving the school purely out of the goodness of our hearts, the altruism of our motives, and the nice addition it would make to our resumes?
(Really, I'm not just saying this because I'm afraid of getting nominated "most sarcastic/annoying" . . . )
Cheers!

I think Jack is more aiming towards people working their hardest not only out of good-will but also taking a step up to do a little extra . This may also help get more people on the forum .

Egalitarian - certainly we are not working towards making sure everyone put in exactly the same amount of effort/time/energy into the council. Some people do indeed show an outstanding committment to the council and should be recognized for that.

How about most committed? Most reliable? Loudest *cough*frannie*cough* I think the awards will be reflected towards things such as attendance, stuff on the forum, and stuff that doesn't reflect upon one's personality because that would just cause one person against another .

Thanks for the compliment , but no, I won't be giving myself an award lol. That would be, as you say, awkward. My efforts are just to make you guys happy , so your appreciation is all I care about.

Since everyone is so excited about the awards, I suppose we should figure out who gets to judge? Should the award be given to council members from the executives?
