This is just an early proposal and requires much input, discussion, and amendments.

I like it. Because this is a full day event would this be on saturday/sunday/pro-d day?

I did present this idea at a Byng Arts staff meeting last year. The teachers showed great support. When I asked if it would be possible for the school to allow a full day to be dedicated to the event, the staff were hesitant to answer, but did not deny the possibility. So we'll have to lay down all the plans first, present a professional proposal, hand it in to the school for review and approval, and the decide on the day. We might have to hold it on a Pro-D day or weekend, but that is yet to be decided.

This is exciting. I think advertisement is going to be key though. We should order lawn signs so that the community will be aware of such an event.

Most of the events fail to haf larger turnouts due to lack of advertisements, so I agree! Up with the lawn signs!
